Paint Correction for All Vehicle Types

Step 1: Initial Cutting Process 

We begin with a thorough wash and drying of the vehicle to remove any surface dirt or debris that could interfere with the correction process. Our team at Albrecht Auto Spa selects a heavy cutting compound and a matching pad that is appropriate for the level of correction required. The choice of compound depends on the paint's hardness and the depth of the imperfections. Likewise, pressure, speed, and compound amount are adjusted based on paint response.

Step 2: Buffing Your Paint 

The goal of the buffing stage is to remove any remaining imperfections from the vehicle's paintwork, such as remnants of deeper scratches and scrapes. This also gets rid of the residue remaining from the cutting phase so your paint begins to show the best gloss and clarity possible. Albrecht Auto Spa will buff the paintwork in sections just as cutting it, using overlapping passes to ensure even coverage and removal of any remaining imperfections. Once we wrap up the buffing process, we can now move to polishing to finish the job.

Step 3: Polishing to Finish

This stage enhances the clarity and gloss of the paint. Using a finer polishing compound and pad to refine the paint rather than remove significant imperfections. Albrecht Auto Spa will work on the vehicle in sections, similar to the cutting stage but with far less pressure. This step is about refining the surface, enhancing gloss, and preparing the paint for a ceramic coating to follow. Albrecht Auto Spa regularly inspects the paintwork along the way to ensure improvement in gloss, color, and clarity. To follow this, we apply a Ceramic Pro Sport layer to give your vehicle some surface hydrophobicity and enhancement in its look!
