Paint Correction for
Sudden Valley Drivers

Sudden Valley vehicles park under conifers, and conifer sap is genuinely destructive. It is acidic, it bonds hard, and left on a warm panel it will etch straight through clear coat into the base coat — permanently. Sap damage is the single most common correction request we get from the Lake Whatcom communities, and by the time most people bring it in, some of it has already etched deep enough that correction can only improve it, not remove it.

Underneath the sap sit the other forest problems: pollen every spring in volumes that stain light paint, constant needle and organic debris in cowls, sunroof drains and window channels, and moss growth on trim and glass seals in permanent shade. Add the winding, damp, shaded roads around the lake and you have vehicles that stay wet almost continuously through the winter — which is exactly when contamination does its worst work.
