Ceramic Coating for
Sudden Valley Drivers
Living under a canopy of evergreens is beautiful. It is also the most aggressive paint environment in the county.

Local conditions
What Sudden Valley does to your paint
Sudden Valley vehicles park under conifers, and conifer sap is genuinely destructive. It is acidic, it bonds hard, and left on a warm panel it will etch straight through clear coat into the base coat — permanently. Sap damage is the single most common correction request we get from the Lake Whatcom communities, and by the time most people bring it in, some of it has already etched deep enough that correction can only improve it, not remove it.
Underneath the sap sit the other forest problems: pollen every spring in volumes that stain light paint, constant needle and organic debris in cowls, sunroof drains and window channels, and moss growth on trim and glass seals in permanent shade. Add the winding, damp, shaded roads around the lake and you have vehicles that stay wet almost continuously through the winter — which is exactly when contamination does its worst work.
If your vehicle lives under trees, a coating is not a cosmetic upgrade — it is what stands between sap and your clear coat.

What people say
Trusted across Whatcom County
Jack & Jordan are awesome! I highly recommend them. They ceramic coated my new car and went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Quality workmanship. They treat your car like its their own.
Super friendly, great work, best price. Offered very clear instructions on what they would proceed, options, even suggested a less expensive option for me. Honest, friendly, professional. And my car looks amazing!
I had tried for months to remove 10+ bumper stickers from the back of my car to no avail. They went the extra mile and the back of my car is now completely free of all stickers and residue. Fantastic customer service.

FAQ
Ceramic Coating in Sudden Valley — questions
It depends on how long it sat. Fresh sap sitting on the surface comes off cleanly with the right solvents. Sap that has been baked on through warm weather etches into the clear coat, and that requires machine correction. If it has gone through the clear coat into the base coat, correction improves the appearance but cannot fully remove it. Sooner is always dramatically better.
